Party Tips

  1. When planning any type of event make sure that the entertainment is a top priority. It will make or break your event. Your guest are not going to remember the food or the décor after the event. They will remember if the service and entertainment was fun or boring.
  2. Always have additional people to help assist, serve, collect garbage, clean up during the event or hire a professional party event service to do all the leg work.
  3. Make sure your bar is fully stocked with the essentials or if hiring a bartender, check that the bartender has his or her own bar kit. Pros travel with their own wine opener, pour spouts cocktail shakers, strainers, long-handled spoon, towel and knife for cutting garnishes. You provide the blender, beverages, glasses and ice.
  4. When Hiring a party event service, test expertise. Ask how many years of experience the bartender has. Make sure they have their smart serve. Good bartenders know major mixed-drink recipes. An experienced bartender can help you calculate how much and what alcohol you’ll need.
  5. Question prospective bartenders on how they set up their bars and how they cope with nonstop drink demands and empty glasses and bottles. They should be in command of their work space, trash containers, and supply of glassware and beverages.
  6. If you’re planning the party yourself rather than hiring a caterer, wait staff or party helpers, make sure to have all food prepared well in advance, Bar set up, Plates, cups, Cutlery, napkins, etc. Time management is the key to keep thing rolling.
  7. Make sure the agency is fully bond & Insured.
  8. Ask the Party event / bartender service how long they have been in business.
